About Us

Mike and Kyli, co-owners of Escapetown, are thrilled to bring this fun and entertaining activity to Peoria. They became hooked on escape rooms after completing their first game, “The Cabin,” at Champaign-Urbana Adventures in Space and Time. Ever since, they have been on a mission to find the next best escape room game! They love spending time with their beautiful daughter, Luna, and handsome boys Leo and Milo.

Steve, co-owner of Escapetown, is a financial analyst in St. Louis, MO, and a proud alum of Monmouth College. He has loved escape rooms since he solved the “Walk Like an Egyptian” clue in “The Tomb” room in downtown Maplewood, MO with his brothers and sisters-in-law. Steve enjoys waterskiing and hanging out with his three favorite girls, Kendra, Harper and Margot.

Jonah has loved escape rooms ever since playing Wild West Jailbreak at EscapeTown Peoria when he was 12. Now a co-owner and escape room builder, Jonah is responsible for bringing you games such as Murder at the Queen’s Hotel (Bloomington) and The Asylum (Springfield).

Roger Perry, co-owner of Escapetown, has been a paramedic for Galesburg since 1986. He has been involved in escape rooms since 2019. He joined Escapetown in 2020 and became an owner in 2023. Roger enjoys photography and he loves spending time with his family.

Alex Koeberl is the General Manager of Escapetown Springfield. He and the staff at ETS are constantly looking for ways to bring novel and exciting experiences to their customers. A motto he lives by is “Ask me, I can help!”

Kris has been a part of Escapetown since the beginning as she and her family were one of the first to play our first game! She loves escape rooms and most recently surpassed playing her 200th room! She has put her communications and theatre background to use at Escapetown Peoria and has made some pretty fun road trips picking up new additions to our rooms! Her favorite part of managing Escapetown Peoria is meeting customers and making new friends!
